An old man dependent on his family members, grapples with an existential crisis. At some point, regarding an important family decision, he realizes his unimportance. This realization leads him to withdraw from the family and become rebellious and aimless.

Brief Synopsis/Plot

An old man (Torab Sheikh) lives in a small shack with his family in the slum near the railways. Having no work at old age, he spends most of the day in the hut and survives on the earnings of his family members. Due to his dependence on the family, he suffers from an existential crisis and feels useless. Since his physical inability prevents him from getting to work, he wants to rid himself of this inferior feeling by getting to work. Despite his son’s (Jamir) prohibition he often assists one of his neighbors (Nizam) to drive a wheelbarrow and deliver goods to earn some money. His opinions are less cared, and no longer receive much attention in family decision making despite being the head of the household. After being threatened with eviction, at one point his family decides to wed his daughter (Lalu) to a gangster (Mojid Mia) without informing him so that he could not interfere. Already, with no income, he feels unnecessary; and after learning about his daughter’s marriage he becomes angry and insulted. This incident makes him realize his unimportance, leading him to instantly leave the house and get lost. Only then the family members start realizing his absence!
