Shinjini is back at her childhood home after 2 decades.
She goes about exploring the house and amongst old, discarded possessions she finds a red bundle. Inside are a few nondescript items: A round flip mirror, old cassettes, dog eared comics, old toys and a diary. The diary has a mix of sketches, poetry and random to-do lists scribbled inside. Followed by a recipe for chicken curry.
Shinjini barely remembers her mother who passed away in her childhood. As she goes through each item, flashes of her mother appear in front of her eyes.
She walks down city streets she does not remember or recognize. Her city is as alien as the memory of her mother.
She returns home and starts cooking the recipe. Once done, she tastes the dish and in an instant is transported back to her childhood.
She stares at her mother across the years and finally feels at one with who she was and the woman she is today.
