About The Movie
After a night of heavy rain, two sisters, Aaima and Ushna, clear out their flooded home. Amid this process, they uncover a collection of old, drenched photographs of their late parents. As they sift through the pictures, they begin playing ghar ghar – a childhood role-playing game in which they reenact scenes from their mother’s life. What begins as a playful reenactment gradually transforms into a quiet act of remembrance, allowing the sisters to process their grief and reconnect with their memories. Set during Lahore’s chaotic monsoon season, the film explores the complexity of loss and sisterhood through an absurd game of imitation.
