This documentary portrays the dream and struggle of Prem Ghale, who was born into a minority Indigenous community and envisioned transforming the impoverished minority Indigenous village in the Annapurna Conservation Area into a prosperous community. He initiated a rural tourism campaign focused on homestays. Around the same time, the Communist Party (Maoist) launched an armed conflict in Nepal, resulting in the deaths of over 17,000 people. The Maoists attempted several times to kill Prem Ghale, but the villagers protected him and resisted their efforts.
